Michael S. Monk, PGA, GCSAA

Head Golf Professional, Pro Manager, Class A Member of the GCSAA. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Methodist University with a concentration in PGA Golf Management. He earned his certification from the PGA in Teaching/Coaching in 2013 and his GCSAA Class "A" member from the GCSAA in 2016. Mike is a native Odessa Texan and has held Assistant Golf Professional, Head Golf Professional, General Manager, Director of Golf and Superintendant positions in North Carolina from 2008 until 2021. Mike has a passion for teaching the game of golf so golfers of all abilities can achieve great things on the course. Mike worked with the 38th President of the PGA of America in Franklin Indiana, 2011-2012. He boasts 7000+ golf lessons since 2008. "At some point you just quit counting them all!", he says. Mike's method to teaching encompasses the fundamentals of grip, alignment, and setup. Although there is a lot to it, all golfers need assistance from time to time. Mike joined Ratliff Ranch in March 29th, 2021 and is looking forward to getting to know the staff and customers alike.
